The internet is in awe of how actor Sebastian Stan has turned himself into Donald Trump for his upcoming film ‘The Apprentice.’ The Falcon and Winter Soldier star was recently spotted strolling on the streets of Toronto sporting wispy sandy blond hair, most likely a wig, which closely resembled the president’s signature look. The picture was taken by the publication Page Six and has since been going viral on social media. The picture showed the actor looking eerily like a younger version of Trump as he chewed on a bite of a burger. Stan wore a dark suit and sported blond hair for the look.
It was reported earlier that the 41-year-old will be portraying the iconic business magnate in the film, which will be released next year. Ali Abbasi is directing the movie, featuring Maria Bakalova as Trump’s first wife, Ivana, and Jeremy Strong as his mentor lawyer Roy Cohn.
As per reports, the film will explore the tumultuous early years of Trump’s career in the cutthroat world of New York real estate. It will also explore larger-than-life characters in a story that reflects the moral and human costs of an era defined by winners and losers.
Sebastian is no stranger to portraying real-life personalities as he has already portrayed American musician Tommy Lee in the miniseries Pam and Tommy, based on the pair’s infamous sex tape scandal. He has also appeared as Bucky Barnes/Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will reprise his role in the upcoming anti-hero team-up, Thunderbolts.
In an interview with Variety, the actor recently shared his feelings about playing romantic comedies. He explained that romcoms have “gotten a bad rap lately.” He added that he would love to do one with his Friends co-star, Jennifer Aniston.
The ‘Pam and Tommy’ star has been busy lately, promoting his upcoming film Zombieland: Double Tap, due out on November 4. He will also be seen alongside Scarlett Johansson and Liam Neeson in the upcoming superhero flick Avengers: Endgame. The movie will hit theatres on April 26, 2019. Stan will also return as the titular character in the upcoming Captain America fourth installment, which is scheduled for an unspecified 2020 release date. Stay tuned for more details.
